It’s been this year that I’ve found myself cheering on my couples in all of their exciting new life endeavors rather than being right beside them experiencing some of the same things myself. A big convention a lot of my couples say during their engagement sessions is “I have one more semester of college left.” So when I see them post their cap and gown photos on their social media pages it’s so special to see because I know their next important photos that will be posted will be in wedding attire to start their new future together. This has been the case for Lindsey and Gabe.
A couple of weeks before our scheduled session Lindsey had traveled to Dawes Arboretum in Newark Ohio with her family as a little day trip and fell in love with the place and suggested we switch locations where we planned on shooting before. Such a great choice! The location might have been on our side but the weather had me a little nervous with the grayness and rain that didn’t seem to want to stop on the drive there. But really it was just setting the stage for the best fog and Portland looking vibes! One year will past before you know it and all the details will be planned for their big day to say I do, and I’m here for it!
